Chess for Hope – 55+ Charitable Chess Challenge
Chess for Hope is a student-led charitable chess event organized by Sougoto Das Chakrabarty from Sheldon Williams High School. This special event invites participants aged 55+ to enjoy a day of chess, social interaction, and friendly competition while supporting a meaningful cause. Event highlights include: • Opening remarks and guest speech • Friendly 10-minute rapid chess games • Tea break and social time • Charity mini auction • Simultaneous chess exhibition with Tobias Salked (National Candidate Master) • Closing remarks and prize presentation Registration is free and donations are welcome at the event.
